Columbia Operatic Laboratory is thrilled to share that one of their founding members, Buoy The Brooklyn Mermaid, is swimming back into town this Spring!

You don’t want to miss her magical free show Arias of The Abyss at Richland Library Main (1431 Assembly Street. Columbia, SC) on Thursday, April 9th at 3pm.

Arias of the Abyss is a deep dive into the magical world of classical music. It's a family-friendly, interactive show led by Buoy the Brooklyn Mermaid! This immersive experience introduces audiences of all ages to the wonders of opera and the ocean, featuring music by composers like Dvořák, Puccini, Schumann, and Poulenc. With splashy storytelling, soaring vocals, and plenty of mermaid mischief, Arias of the Abyss makes classical music accessible, exciting, and fun for the whole pod!
